HeadWaters
Land Conservancy helps private landowners in the large landscape region of
northeast Lower Michigan preserve their land. This area contains many of the
largest parcels of land left in the Lower Peninsula. This November, with the
help of the popular Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) television show, Michigan
Magazine, more potential supporters and landowners will be aware of HeadWaters
Land Conservancyâs important work. ãThe large tracts of land, hunt clubs and
world-class fly fishing rivers in northeast Lower Michigan are irreplaceable
treasures. Through Michigan Magazine Television we have a means to reach a wider
audience of potential members to help us preserve more large tracts,ä said the
Conservancyâs Director of Development Kirt Manecke.
Part One of the show will air on this popular Public Broadcasting Service show on Saturday, November 15 and/or Wednesday, November 19, depending on your location. Part Two will air on Saturday, November 22 and/or Wednesday, November 26.
